Seeking Advice

One of the best parts of being human is that we all have different perspectives and different approaches to how we solve problems, give advice, or even just our bias on various topics. This means we all have our own unique takes on how to approach life and our careers.

When seeking advice, whether it’s for your personal life or for your career, I highly recommend you get advice from as many people as possible. Don’t watch something like this (or take Full Time You) and assume what that person (in this case me!) is talking about is exactly what to do with your life. Rather, consume as many opinions and consult with as many people as you possibly can, gather that information, and apply it to your life in a way that feels right for you.

Remember, we all have our own approaches and our own perspectives to each problem, which is pretty cool, but one person’s approach might not resonate with you.

So, as you listen to me or get advice from others, listen intently and walk away applying what feels right specifically for you and how you operate. What I like to do is listen and adapt what they’re telling me into a Meg-way of doing it. Pretty cool!
